Double D Cottage - Mount Gainor

The house was absolutely stunning with a perfect location! It was quiet, private, and truly a getaway spot. The amenities, such as towels, were great, and the house embodied the spirit of Central Texas. The location was ideal, not far from the main town nearby, making it convenient. One of the best aspects was feeling right at home, as if we were locals in the area. We would definitely come back as it was our favorite stay in all of America.

On the downside, for the price, it would have been nice to have newer linens on the beds and fresher towels. Some parts of the kitchen, such as the microwave and cabinets, were not as clean as we would have preferred.

I had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The location was perfect, with a quiet setting yet still a short drive to nearby towns. The layout of the house was great, and I especially loved the western touches and the longhorns above the fireplace. The patio was a favorite spot of mine, with its cozy atmosphere and the new Weber grill that was provided. I also enjoyed the jacuzzi, a nice addition for relaxation. The little lights on the perimeter were a charming touch that added to the overall ambiance. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The linens in the cottage could use an upgrade, with newer sheets, pillow cases, and towels. The microwave and cabinets also need better cleaning and maintenance.

While the overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor issues. It would have been nice to have newer linens on the beds, including sheets, pillowcases, and a more modern comforter.

This beautiful house is located in a peaceful and private area, allowing an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's conveniently close to a nearby town, providing easy access to amenities. The towels provided are great and the kitchen is clean. The jacuzzi is a great addition and the western touches throughout the house add a unique and cozy atmosphere.

The pillows in the main bedroom need an update to softer, fuller ones.
